Collective Bargaining Support
Business Literacy
Explain the company's position in bargaining to employees and supervisors in a manner that reinforces supervisors' and managers' messages. When employees understand the substance of the offer rather than the way it has mischaracterized, they are more likely to encourage bargaining committee members to support rratification, oppose strike authorization and in the longer term, support the employer's busines objectives.
Strike Authorization? Just Say No!
The union may not liek you communicating to your employees, but if you do not, they hear only one side of the story. If you want to avoid a strike, explain to employees the real strike issues, why they are strike issues and the consequence of a strike - to them, to your customers, passengers or patients and to the employer.
